MAINTENANCE TIPS:

Tip 1: When having your oil changed, (recommended every 3 months or 3,000 miles) be sure to ask the technician to check your belts and hoses too.

Tip 2: Most auto manufacturers recommend changing the automatic transmission fluid every 30,000 to 45,000 miles. Clean, fresh transmission fluid helps prevent premature failure of expensive transmission parts.

Tip 3: Your engine coolant should also be changed every 30,000 to 45,000 miles. Clean, fresh coolant helps prevent sludge buildup in the cooling system and maintains optimal water pump seal lubrication.

Tip 4: During the hot summer months, it is a good idea to have your air conditioning system checked to be sure it has a full charge of freon and is operating properly. A low freon charge can lead to premature compressor failure and expensive repairs.
